Well at the beginning of December we were hit with floods up here in Centralia, WA. It came up into the house about 14 inches. We had to get the kids out on boat and I was able to get one car out, but not the other one. We spent a while at the Salvation Army, and then a few days in the shelter at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints shelter. I am still sleeping on a small single bed. It's actually not too bad for comfort. Then last Friday I was fired from the job that I had had for almost 8 years. I don't think that the supervisor that had taken over for my murdered friend liked me all that much and was trying to find any little thing to get rid of me.
So today I got guaranteed a new job as an insurance agent. All I need to do is get the life a disability licensing done and take the tests. It shouldn't be hard I don't think. It's pretty interesting stuff to me which is a plus. I get to work with people in person, and get driving in. I am NOT stuck at a desk in an office all day. Gosh! I hated that.

Wow that sucks about losing your job!!! I work for an insurance agent. It is a very interesting line of work. Trust me you will love it, your staff will do all of the work eventually..lol. I have a couple of those licences, study hard, it gets more interesting as you go. I have a friend that up and changed professions, bought an agency and is doing really well. Anyway, I just came across your blog and read that part. Good luck, I bet you will enjoy it.
